Lehigh Hills Project
A large development site in Fogelsville, PA, Lehigh hills is a project that has been ongoing for several years. When completed the site will house both commercial and residential properties including the now completed and open for business Weis Markets. To make room for the buliding process a massive amount of rock needs to be removed, turning a hillside into a more level surface.
The blasting at Lehigh Hills consists mainly of large bulk shots and trench work. Extra precaution must be taken on this site due to the close proximity to the always busy route 100.
Much of the blasting for the commercial side of the site has been completed, but a large portion remains for the residential area hopefully coming in 2013 or 2014.
